Progress...

He is a big horse who has shaped into a nice 3 year old and certainly catches the eye in the parade ring, he ran five times as a 2 year old over six and seven furlongs, often running too freely and leading good quality races until the final furlong, he finished his 1st year with a handicap mark of 55..

He can get very excited when racing and always breaks well from the stalls and is always keen to race with the leaders or take them on, the nature of sprint races is not suitable for Compton Flyer and from June 2006 he is being trained with the emphasis on stamina.

Plans...

He has shown ability at 2 and 3 years old and is now being aimed at middle distance racing at 1m4f before trying hurdling later in 2006.

He will also be tried on the all weather tracks in 2006 and we hope to run a mixed staying flat/hurdling (National Hunt) later in 2006/early 2007.

We plan to race him around the UK.

We expect to race him around 10 times per year.
