As with all of our racehorses our long term plans are to race Mango Masher with Racing Shares through his entire career through to retirement.

Background...

He is very well bred racehorse who started his racing career in 2007 as a three year old, trying varying distances, tactics and racing surfaces.

His sire is Danehill Dancer one of the most influential stallions of recent times siring many black type horses in both flat and NH racing, notably Choisir (AUS) and Degas Art (IRE).

Progress...

He has proven speed on fast ground at distances around 7 to 10 furlongs as well as stamina at distances up to 2 miles.

His 3 year old form especially on fast ground shows some excellent form lines in some hot maidens and has also proven himself against older horses.

He has a handicap mark that ensures he is easily placed fron the start of his 4year old campaign.

Plans...

After his initial runs for us we plan to have him gelded and give a few months rest before restarting training in December 2007 for a 2008 campaign.

We hope his debut in Racing Shares colours will be at the end of August 2007 and have a couple of runs before having a break and coming back in February 2008 as a 4 year old, on the all weather running through the 2008 season switching to turf from April/May.

Our initial targets will be races around 7 furlongs or a mile, with a possibility of stepping up in trip over time and possibly a hurdling career in a few years time.
