Background...
Selected for us by Milton Bradley from Day one
of the 2007 Doncaster Autumn yearling sales, the filly is fully
qualified a wide range of 2 year old races in the 2008 season.
She is by a 1st season sire called Needwood
Blade who was a high class sprinter who won the Palace House
stakes. Our filly is the 1st foal for her mare from a family that
includes Sri Diamond and Compton Bolter through the
female bloodlines.

Progress...
She ran well in hot maidens at the start of the
2008 season, but she is a big filly and weakened as the season went on.
We expect her to really grow into her frame and make a useful three
year old in 2009.
She has earned the stable
name of Charlotte (after Charlotte Church) as she is very vocal!
She has a great
temperament and is easily handled, she takes everything in her
stride and has a serious and sensible attitude to work, an excellent
trait in a filly.

She will be prepared for an early start for her three year old
seasont
expected to be in April/May 2009.
As with all of our racehorses our long term plans
are to race the horse with Racing Shares through her entire
career through to retirement.
